Singer | Performer | Workshop Leader
Helena is a versatile vocalist, performing in many different styles including Choral, Classical, Early Music, Jazz, Pop/Rock/Soul, Folk and Musical Theatre.
She works regularly with the Royal Shakespeare Company on recording projects and live music for plays.
She sang for two plays in the ‘King and Country’ cycle which toured London, China and New York following live cinema broadcasts.
Performing experience includes studio session work (solo and choral), live radio broadcasts and televised performances as well as concerts, musicals, opera, plays, cabaret and Panto.
For the last two years she took part in the UK's largest Christmas show, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular.
Helena is an experienced Choral Singer, and has performed with Gareth Malone’s ‘Voices’ and choral group ‘Celeste’.
She has also sung with the choir and consort of Birmingham-based Ex Cathedra and is a member of the St. John’s Wood Church choir.
She is also an experienced workshop leader with Ex Cathedra’s award winning Education Department, and has devised Interactive Concerts for Primary School children, introducing them to different styles of music and giving them a taste of live performance.
She trained on the Musical Theatre Course at the Royal Academy of Music having studied Classical Singing at the Birmingham Conservatoire and Music at the University of Birmingham.
