Helena studied Classical Singing at the Birmingham Conservatoire and Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music, and enjoys singing in many different styles including – pop, soul, funk, jazz, folk, MT, a capella, classical and baroque.

Performing experience includes, concerts, opera, church services, musical theatre, cabaret and session work. She can currently be heard on the soundtrack of ‘Phaedra’ at the National Theatre.

A strong sight-reader and experienced choral singer, Helena is one of the two sopranos in the professional Octet at St. John’s Wood Church.

She has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company for over a decade, singing live for many shows, including the RSC’s first live broadcast to cinema and a world tour, she also appears on theatre music recordings​ and was a soloist for ‘The RSC - A Musical 50 Years’, a concert celebrating musicals produced by the RSC.

Most recently she was a session vocalist for rehearsals of ‘My Neighbour Totoro’, and a member of the vocal quartet for the Barbican run of 'The Comedy of Errors', which included an improvised vocal guitar solo!
