Singer | Performer | Workshop Leader
Helena is a versatile vocalist, performing in many different styles including Choral, Classical, Early Music, Jazz, Pop/Rock/Soul, Folk and Musical Theatre.
She has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company on recording projects and live music for plays, and was one of the musicians for the ‘King and Country’ cycle which toured London, China and New York following live cinema broadcasts.
Performing experience includes studio session work, live radio broadcasts and televised performances as well as concerts, musicals, opera, plays, cabaret and Panto.
For the last two years she took part in the UK's largest Christmas show, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular.
Helena is an experienced Choral Singer, and has performed with Gareth Malone’s ‘Voices’ and choral group ‘Celeste’.
She has also sung with the choir and consort of Birmingham-based choir Ex Cathedra and is a member of the St. John’s Wood Church choir.
She is also an experienced children’s music workshop leader, children’s vocal coach, and works with Ex Cathedra’s award-winning Education Department.
She has also devised Interactive Concerts for Primary School children, introducing them to different styles of music and giving them a taste of live performance.
She trained on the Musical Theatre Course at the Royal Academy of Music having studied Classical Singing at the Birmingham Conservatoire and Music at the University of Birmingham.
